Follow Friday [1]

This meme is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.

This is my first time participating in this Follow Friday meme. Tis' always a good thing to make new book-loving, blogger friends.

Okay on to the question:

Q: What is your preferred format? Hardcover, eBooks, paperback, etc?

A: I have an addiction to reading on or near water. Something about water and books (and occasionally sun) goes together, don'tcha agree? On a float in the pool, toes in the sand at the ocean, or yes even the bathtub, I can be found with a book in my hand. So in the summertime, I prefer formats that can get a little wet. I usually remove the slip if it is hardback cause I don't like to mess those up. But actual pages are fair game to get a bit damp.

However, I love the flexabiltity and easy of eBooks. I also like the fact that nobody can judge you for your book choice because they cant see the title or cover. And I am a sucker for the .99 cent deals that I see on amazon.

Be sure to follow me through bloglovin', GFC, or linky. Leave a comment and I'll be sure to follow back :)

Happy hopping!

    1. It is a great summer combo. Add in a drink (cheerwine or Dr. Pepper) and it bumps up to wonderful!

  2. Happy Friday! I prefer reading paperbacks. I love the feel of real pages in my hand. I read eBooks sometimes, though. They're always faster to finish and you can easily highlight the passages you like.

    1. Highlighting is an added bonus of eBooks. Especially, if you like including quotes in your reviews.

  7. Print is waaaaaay easier to read outside, but I also have quite a few waterlogged books. I probably shouldn't be allowed near water with any kind of book, even glasses of water.

    1. For sure...eBooks are annoying to read outside.

And haha, I love to read on water, but always hate when a book gets completely wet. Yet, I still keep reading on/near water.

  11. I've actually never read a book in water because I'm literally the clumsiest person ever and I'm paranoid I'll drop it in the water... and become sad :( Lol I tried reading in the bathtub once... after about 2 minutes of that, I stopped. That was just an accident WAITING to happen lol. Maybe I'll try reading near a lake or on the beach sometime. Great answer! New follower via Linky and bloglovin'!
