WoW: To All the Boys I've Loved Before

To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han

Expected publication: April 15th 2014 by Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers

Lara Jean’s love life goes from imaginary to out of control in this heartfelt novel from the New York Times bestselling author of The Summer I Turned Pretty series.

What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them…all at once?

Lara Jean Song keeps her love letters in a hatbox her mother gave her. They aren’t love letters that anyone else wrote for her; these are ones she’s written. One for every boy she’s ever loved—five in all. When she writes, she pours out her heart and soul and says all the things she would never say in real life, because her letters are for her eyes only. Until the day her secret letters are mailed, and suddenly, Lara Jean’s love life goes from imaginary to out of control.

I've not read a lot of YA lately, but this sounds really good. Jenny Han has a great reputation, and a lot of her books are on my TBR list.

What are you waiting on this Wednesday?

Happy Hump Day!

This meme is hosted by Breaking the Spine.

Fault Line by Christa Desir

Ben could date anyone he wants, but he only has eyes for the new girl — sarcastic free-spirit, Ani. Luckily for Ben, Ani wants him too. She’s everything Ben could ever imagine. Everything he could ever want.

But that all changes after the party. The one Ben misses. The one Ani goes to alone.

Now Ani isn’t the girl she used to be, and Ben can’t sort out the truth from the lies. What really happened, and who is to blame?

Ben wants to help her, but she refuses to be helped. The more she pushes Ben away, the more he wonders if there’s anything he can do to save the girl he loves.

Expected publication: October 1st 2013 by SimonPulse

Waiting On Wednesday #4: Sometimes It Last by Abbi Glines

Cage York is back!

Sometimes It Lasts (Sea Breeze #5) by Abbi Glines

After waiting for his big break, bad boy Cage York is finally called up to prove his worth in the college baseball arena. But when Cage’s girlfriend, Eva, mourns the sudden loss of her father, it’s not Cage’s comforting arms she runs to, but those of her former fiancĂ©’s twin brother, Jeremy.

Torn between his baseball dream and the girl of his dreams, Cage must prove he’s worthy of Eva’s love, or risk losing her to Jeremy forever.

I loved Cage in While It Lasts. And I could hug Abbie Glines for writing Cage And Ava another story. So glad that it is out this month!

Expected publication: August 27th 2013 by Simon Pulse

Waiting On Wednesday #3: Crash into You by Katie McGarry + QuickView

This meme is hosted by Breaking the Spine.

Isaiah has secrets, too. About where he lives, and how he really feels about Rachel. The last thing he needs is to get tangled up with a rich girl who wants to slum it on the south side for kicks-no matter how angelic she might look.

But when their shared love of street racing puts both their lives in jeopardy, they have six weeks to come up with a way out. Six weeks to discover just how far they'll go to save each other.

I am dying to get my hands on this book. It has so many things that I love in a book: rich girl, rough side of the tracks boy, protective older brothers, racing, tattoos, secrets, and an amazing cover. Isaiah just may be my favorite charcter from this series (though Noah is up there). Seriously, I'm ready for Isaish to have his HEA!

Expected publication: November 26th 2013 by Harlequin Teen

My thoughts on Pushing the Limits --> here

My thoughts on Dare You To --> here

And....

Quick View of Crossing the Line (Pushing The Limits 1.5):

Crossing the Line was a cute, short romance. McGarry, as to be expected, created a great couple with a little bit of angst. I am glad that Lila got a story.

Even though the book was short, I was drawn in and enjoyed the plot . And I found myself highlighting (I've a kindle) a lot of quotes that I liked.

The book was wrote from both Lila and Lincoln's POV. It was sweet and at 67 pages, I was happy with the ending.

Hopefully, it'll tied me over till the third (and the one I'm most excited for) Isaiah 's book.

Waiting On Wednesday [1]

Waiting on Wednesday is a meme that highlights upcoming releases that we are excited to read. This meme is hosted by Breaking the Spine.

This week I am waiting on:

Summary (from Goodreads): Seventeen-year-old Parker Frost may be a distant relative of Robert Frost, but she has never taken the road less traveled. Valedictorian and quintessential good girl, she’s about to graduate high school without ever having kissed her crush or broken the rules. So when fate drops a mystery in her lap—one that might be the key to uncovering the truth behind a town tragedy, she decides to take a chance.

Expected publication: May 14th 2013 by Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers
