wednesday memes

W. W. W. Wednesdays [1]

W.W.W. Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading. To join, answer the following questions:
• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

My answers:

What are you currently reading?

I am 66% done with Spirit Bound (Vampire Academy #5) by Richelle Mead.
And just let me say: Aaaahhhhhhhhhh!  That roughly translates to: "so freakin' good."

I am 10% done with Catching Jordan (Hundred Oaks #1) by Miranda Kenneally.

What did you recently finish reading?

This book was fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. Seriously, can I give it 6 stars? Review will be up soon!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy #6) by Richelle Mead.
How could this not be my next read?
Again, ahhhhhhhh -- This now translates to: "so freakin' excited."

Waiting On Wednesday [1]

Waiting on Wednesday is a meme that highlights upcoming releases that we are excited to read. This meme is hosted by Breaking the Spine.

This week I am waiting on:

Summary (from Goodreads): Seventeen-year-old Parker Frost may be a distant relative of Robert Frost, but she has never taken the road less traveled. Valedictorian and quintessential good girl, she’s about to graduate high school without ever having kissed her crush or broken the rules. So when fate drops a mystery in her lap—one that might be the key to uncovering the truth behind a town tragedy, she decides to take a chance.

Expected publication: May 14th 2013 by Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers

    1. Thanks. Once I finish the 6th one, I am going to decide if I want to start the spin-off. I have a feeling that it is going to a big "yes."

  3. You are really making me want to dig out my Vampire Academy books so that I can finish up the series. I just have so many other books to read and I don't want the series to end. Though maybe I'll make it a goal this year to see what happens to Rose and Lissa.

    My WWW Wednesday is here.

    1. You should! I have been trying to read a book in between them. This helps draw them out too. But I think I'll probably dive straight into the last one a.s.a.p.

  4. I finished Spirit Bound last year and really need to read The Last Sacrifice...other books just keep pushing themselves in the way! They are super fun though aren't they? Great books!

    1. THey are great books. I love Rose -- she has got to be one of m favorite characters in the YA genre. It is going to be sad to end them all when I finally pick up Last Sacrifice. But at least, I hear good things about the spin-off, so I'll probably pick those up too.
