Hello hoppers! Thanks for jumping by!About Me: Random Facts
- I am southern girl, but can't stand sweet tea. But, Ido indeed, love cowboy boots and lighting bugs...y'all.
- I love reading, but also I love watching televisn shows. My current
addictionis Grey's Anatomy. I am just starting season 4. - I have had the awesome privilage of traveling to France & Kenya. I love both and probably give my left molar to return.
- I am currently coming upon the end of my CNA certification. I have a few more clases left and one more clinical. Then I'll have a huge state exam that includes a written portion and skills evalution. So I've beem really busy.
- I couldn't chose a favorite book, but one of my favorites that I have recently read is Graceling.
Me cheesin' it up.
Goal: 1 BookWell coming off that last read-a-thon, I learned not to over shoot my goals. So I am shooting low this time, especially since I have to take a couple exams, spend 5+ hours in lab, and babysit between now and the 10th.
Sooooo... My goals are as follows:
- Finish reading Will Grayson, Will Grayson (I'm currently on page 77).
- Start Mind Games byKiersten White.
- Write a review for I'm Not Her.
- Give a reading update at least once.
- Particpate in at least one challenge.
- And continue with season 4 Grey's ;)
Random: Fairy Tales and Twitter

ReplyDeleteSouthern girls FTW! ;) (I also do not like sweet tea.)
Good luck!
Yay, the dirty south :)
DeleteAnd thanks for hosting... Good luck to tou too
I think your goal is a bit more realistic than mine haha
ReplyDeleteGood luck with that (and with your exam coming up!)
- Farhana @ Digesting The Words
P.S. I followed you on bloglovin! ^_^
Thanks :) and i'll be following back soon
DeleteYep, that's one thing I've learned about read-a-thons: make realistic goals. :) And it usually works. I'm not a very fast reader so 1 or 2 books sounds like a great aim.
ReplyDeleteHave fun and good luck with both your goals and the exams!
I am a slow reader too -- so that's why I've only "one"
DeleteThanks for stopping by :)
Good luck with your books and with getting your certification! I probably should have been a little more realistic with my goals (I'm shooting for three books) but that's okay.
ReplyDeleteNo, challenging yourself is good too :)
DeleteGreat goals! Will Grayson, Will Grayson is on my wishlist! I need to pick that one up soon!! Happy Reading!

It started out a bit slow (and it is a little bit crude) but I am loving it now.
DeleteI'm hoping I'm Not Her was good. I'm supposed to reading it sometime for this week for a pick-it-for-me challenge on Goodreads. I may or may not start it during this read-a-thon.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your goals.
Here's my goal: http://readingismytreasure.blogspot.com/2013/07/once-upon-readathon-goals.html
It is a heavy topic, but well written and character development is awesome. I really enjpyed it.
DeleteA fellow southern girl here. Congratulations on your progress towards your CNA. That is quite an accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteI have not watched Grey's but have a friend who is newly hooked. I have to give it a try.
I loved Mind Games and hope that you do too.
