Q: Today’s is the US’ Independence Day. Share your favorite book with a war in it, or an overthrow of the government.
A: I guess I haven't read that many war books. Two dystopias about over throwing the government come to my mind though:
Uglies | The Hunger Games |
The Uglies Triology may not exactly fall into this catgory. But they're dealing with some corrupt governmental people so I included it.
One serious book about war that I read in high school for requred reading was The Things They Carried. It has been a while since I've read this, but I remember it was a very heavy, raw, and intense read.

The Uglies...I've heard so much and yet haven't bothered ever to read it. Must add it to the TBR list.

Uglies is a great series. I wasn't the biggest Hunger Games fan, for some reason that one just depressed me too much. I stopped reading at Rue :( Happy Friday! New bloglovin follower.

I chose The Hunger Games because I love it so much. I have started the Uglies series a few years ago but I never finished it! I'm a Bloglovin follower.
